Bon Iver - The Influences

I had the opportunity to experience Bon Iver live at Way Out West last year and the introspective, orchestral, folky sound suits my ears perfectly. But where did that sound originate from? From their musical veins of course, inspired and influenced by decades of pioneers.

I jumped into the project and researched relentlessly until I came to this conclusion, this playlist of 50 songs (including some of Vernon's work). This is the music that's been the most direct and indirect influential, inspiring and important to the amazing Bon Iver.
